Will be ready for adoption on 7/19/2024 Pepper is an absolutely gorgeous quarter horse type mare to has been learning to trust people and is slowly learning that people are kind. Pepper has responded well to positive reinforcement training and has made improvement in many areas. Pepper will take 15 minutes to catch her, but once she is caught her eyes do begin to soften as she looks to her handler for leadership and kindness. Pepper is good with her front feet, stands at the hitching post, enjoys grooming, and can be fly sprayed. We also have placed bareback pads on her back to begin to uncover any previous under saddle training. Pepper will also lead about the barn and paddocks, and also through our obstacle course. Gaining Pepper's trust and helping her learn she can trust multiple people has been a slow journey, and she has been worth every minute!
