Moxie

Moxie is registered Quarter Horse mare born in 2008 and stands 14 hands. She was surrendered into our facility January 2023 due to financial reasons. Moxie is a sweet mare that requires an experienced person. She is smart and willing for ground work, knows how to lunge, but for the past year we have been working through some discomfort she has under saddle. While she has not offered anything bad or mean, she will refuse to come forward. Moxie has been seen by our vet, and has had a few chiropractor appointments as well. She is very tight throughout her body, and currently Moxie is unable to go under saddle, but hopefully with more time and targeting these tight muscles, she will start to feel better. Moxie is an easy keeper, gets ration balancer twice a day and is turned out 24/7 with a run-in shed. She does best in an all mare field. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
