CURRENT RIDER LEVEL: Beginner Kiana is a 1997 National Show Horse mare who stands at 14.2 hands tall and weighs 848lbs. Kiana is an opinionated mare who's enjoying life turned out in a herd of mares and geldings. Kiana will snub being caught unless you bring her treats. She can be a little pushy when leading but is easily corrected. In the arena and on trail, Kiana doesn't like being alone and needs other horses to be around the area to feel safe and be calm. Kiana will stand to be groomed, tacked and mounted. She prefers to ride in a 3-piece snaffle bit or hackamore and saddle fit is very important for her because she does have a sway back. Kiana is easy to turn, stop back and she responds to some leg pressure. She has a beautiful trot and a very smooth canter. Kiana is also wonderful on the trail and will happily lead or follow.
