Darwin is a sweet little boy with torticollis. He had an severe bite on his neck when he was 6 weeks old that created the muscle changes in his neck you can see in the pictures. His injury will be lifelong causing early onstages of arthritis and requires diligent farrier work to help keep his feet trimmed appropriately to offset his abnormal gait. Twice yearly exams +/- xrays from an equine vet to check for any worsening of his disease and recommended treatments.
