Cookie Monster is a 12 year old, approximately 16h, draft/paint cross mare who came into rescue as a confiscation case, 400+ pounds underweight, suffering from horrific hoof abscess in 3 of her feet and was significantly lame from pain. Upon intake we discovered she also had untreated chushings. This sweet girl has spent the last 8 months preparing for adoption and she's finally ready for her forever home!
Cookie is a very quiet even temper mare, who stands well for grooming, farrier work, vet visit ect, cross ties, loads (slantload) and would be suited for arena riding or lite trail riding with a refresher course. Cookie will require a daily dose of prascend to control her cushings and Purina Wellsolve LS feed or equivalent for life.
