If you are looking for a personable, sweet, and fun mare to add to your life, look no further than "Billie! The racetrack life was much too fast for Billie, she likes to express herself on her terms with a burst of speed through her pasture but having to maintain it is not on her agenda. She is currently going walk-trot under saddle, and as a 5-year-old, she has a very calm mindset. She has incredible ground manners and is the sweetest snuggler there is! She gets along great in turnout with other mares and is well-behaved for the farrier & vet.
Billie's short stint as a track horse may limit her potential for higher level riding and jumping but only time will tell with that. Going slow and steady to allow her body time to adjust is the best course of action. She is a playful girl who needs a job, even if it is liberty-focused. Our trainer sees potential for Billie to enjoy trails. She is best for an Intermediate Rider or someone with a trainer who will take time to work with her to uncover the great potential she has!
