Austin & Beau will both be 30 this year. Austin (lighter bay with blaze) is the alpha. They have been long time residents at Save the Horses and have spent the last 5 years with a family that loves them very much.
But circumstances have changed and they have to move away and don't think the horses will adapt to the climate change.
They are now retired pasture horses. Austin has one eye, had some EPM last year that was treated. He is definitely the alpha and likes his routines. He is loving and curious and sometimes obstinate. He is slowing down and clearly getting older.
Beau has Cushions & arthritis and we give him medication daily. He is the sweetest love-bug and would sit in your lap if you let him. He is also very funny and likes to rearrange the barn if he gets a chance.
Whoever adopts them will be surrounded by the sweetest horses.
