Akira is very-laid back and sweet 16 year old Morgan mare. Akira used to be an Amish cart horse, so she is quite comfortable in busy environments. Not much phases this girl. She gladly walks over tarps, poles, pool noodles and cones. She is very brave. Akira does have a conformational defect in her front fetlock which makes her suitable for light riding only with a lighter rider. Akira likes to take it slower under saddle but will move forward off your leg nicely when you ask. She is very polite for the vet and farrier and loads on the trailer like a dream. Akira is easy to handle and very respectful of her handler. She round pens and joins up like a pro. Akira is up to date on vaccines, farrier work and a dental float.
