Foster Mom Report - May 2010


This adorable fellow will charm his way into your heart in a minute flat. He is playful and happiest when around people and in the middle of whatever is going on. He will keep you entertained with his silly antics from playing fetch, and dancing on 2 legs, to shaking his rope toy until it bonks him on his head. Wolfie has made great progress at house training and now even enjoys a nap in his crate by choice. He is sleeping overnight in his crate now. Wolfie does get into mischief when left alone (e.g. chewing cords). He enjoys being brushed and had a trip to the groomer where he had a spa day and came out looking like a cute little toasted marshmallow!


Wolfie loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash. He knows his commands, come, sit, leave it, where is it? and NO. He will bark at passers by and other dogs but is not at all aggressive, but no-one takes him seriously with that tail spinning at a hundred miles an hour anyway! His tail is his happy – meter. If he’s not feeling well, it drags behind him, as he feels better it starts to curl, and when he’s his old self, it’s curled right up over his back like a DQ sundae. He is very fluffy, and combs out well, but gets really curly when wet – probably the poodle influence in him.


He has a lot of personality and is a bit of a ham, or a faker, depending on your take on things. If his leash won’t let him get to something, he will fake a sore paw to get what he wants – be aware – Wolfie does “cry wolf!” He’s a lovable pup and will make a welcome addition to a family.

Exercise Needs - Moderate
Barking - Barks at passers by
Housetrained? Yes. Will also use paper when uncrated.
Good with
Dogs? Yes
Cats? Likes to chase them, so home with cats not recommended unless the cat(s) liked to be chased.
Kids? Not under 12yrs old

This dog's adoption fee is $375.
All applicants must be 25 yrs or older Applicants must be within 3 hr driving distance from Hamilton ON, and reside in Canada
