Rusty Chihuahua Mix Centerton, AR

Rusty is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs 8 pounds in these pictures taken September 27, 2008. He is a real cuddler and enjoys sleeping in bed with his humans. Rusty is used to being with cats and dogs. He rarely barks and is semi-housebroken. Rusty does need work on the leash. His owner found him on the street and kept him a few months but decided that it was too much to take care of him while she ran a day care. Rusty was wonderful with the children, it was the children hurting Rusty she was worried about.

NOTE: Rusty is in a foster home, NOT at the shelter. A completed application must be submitted before an appointment to see him will be made. The foster parents both work. Thank you for your understanding.
