Meet Queenie
Queenie came to us after the home she was living at she decided to be a bit more than what their 10 year old Retriever buddy could keep up with and it frustrated Queenie. At times she tried to dominate the senior dog, so the family figured it was better to place her with the rescue. Queenie had already had 2 other homes prior to the family that surrendered her. That's alot for a dog before the age of 2yrs.
Queenie (nickname: Piglet) is a sweet girl and gets along with most dogs and cats, and does ok with the animals in her foster home. She can sometimes be a little rough or bully one of the other animals (mostly ones smaller than her, or disadvantaged) but she is easily redirected verbally and she is smart to know it isn't ok or that she did wrong. She is housebroken (might mark once or twice), crate trained, e-collar trained, will need a fenced yard or taught about invisible fencing. She plays great at dog parks, only time she maybe slight butthead to other dogs is in the home she has established territory but not super terrible. She has been great with new fosters as they come in and eager to please. She is a VERY active dog, not for a chilled family. A home that like walks, running, hiking, etc. An ideal home would be where she is a single dog in the home and she has play dates at the park or elsewhere. She does need a confident and experienced handler, bonus if the individual has owned a Bull Terrier and/or Jack Russell to understand their personality and energy level.
Queenie has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, tested for Parvo/Giardia/Coccidia/HW and tested negative for all.
If you would like more information or would like a meet and greet please call/text foster mom at (320)414-2263.
