Meet Heather
Heather is a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi we rescued from a local pound, just hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space. She had been there for a long time and was found as a stray but someone must have loved and cared for this sweet little girl once, as she is housebroken and well socialized. She walks well on a leash, loves to sleep on the bed, and is incredibly affectionate. Not a dog for people who are gone 8 hrs a day every day. She never wants to be alone! She knows how to bark. :-) Gets along great w/ other dogs, cats, and children. We think she is about 3 yrs old. She is a happy and healthy little girl. Heather loves to follow us around the house, get belly rubs, and go for long walks. She has been vaccinated and wormed, and will be spayed this week -- then ready to go to her new loving home. She is 12 inches tall at the shoulders and about 25 lbs. Pictures available. (Like all our rescues, we of course require her adoptive home to have a securely fenced yard for her safety.)
