Cookie Golden Retriever & Spaniel Mix Harrison, NY

Cookie just wants to be loved...is that so wrong?! This senior gentleman with the puppy looks gets along beautifully with children and other dogs. Despite being blind and deaf, Cookie has no problem getting around - and you should see him romp around the backyard! His foster mom describes him as "sweet as sugar and as good as gold." He's extremely polite and gentle, and craves love and affection. Are you the special someone Cookie's been waiting for?




This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved. If you have any questions, please email us.
