Bean 1.5 yrs. Labrador Retriever & Black Labrador Retriever Mix Golden, CO

A total sweetheart, Bean is about 1.5 years old. The list of words describing this young 61 pound fellow from those who have met him is just amazing: “a lover”, “calm”, “so sweet”. Bean was rescued by a Good Samaritan, who has an eye and heart for wonderful Labs, from a bleak and overcrowded shelter where his “time was up”.

New to the Safe Harbor family, Bean is happily settling in with his foster mom and we are all getting better acquainted after his long journey to bring him safely to us. He and his foster mom are working on crate training, house manners and putting the finishing touches on housetraining. Bean gets along beautifully with other dogs, is good with cats and absolutely adores people. What an all around marvelous temperament he has!

Handsome, adaptable, good natured and remarkably easy going, Bean, after a long journey in quest of a true forever home, is looking forward to being the love of your life!
