Looking for a loving friend and companion? Well, this may be your boy! This handsome guy came to GRRR with his Golden Retriever friend, Faith. They had been found as strays or abandoned. When we received the call from the shelter staff about them, they were described to be in horrible shape. Both were emaciated, dehydrated and in general on death's doorr. There was minimal hope that they would recover from this neglect. Chance was in the worst shape.

When they arrived at GRRR, they were immediately seen by the vet. Both were very weak and needed a lot of TLC and groceries. Slowly Chance started to eat and trust humans again. He attached himself to his foster family. When the foster family would return from work, he was always there to greet them with one of his big smiles and hugs.

Chance is completely recovered both physically and mentally and is now a normal, playful boy who enjoys the company of other dogs. Chance would like a home to call his own and he promises to be a delightful companion and will be happy to have a job. He currently found a laundry basket to be a really good time as he knocks it around and chases it, He has the need of all herding dogs, the need to keep his mind busy. He is so smart and will find something to entertain himself with. He's very cute and what a cuddler. If you are looking for a very devoted, loving companion, Chance will be your boy!
