Animal Profile: Zuri ran across I82 in Yakima right in front of one of our volunteers. She was able to safely pull over and approach, and managed to get Zuri off the highway before she was struck and killed. Zuri was taken into the local animal shelter, but they did not have room to house her so one of our fosters took her in for the mandatory stray hold. After 30 days, no one has come forward for her so she is officially released and available for adoption.
Foster Update: Zuri is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. She is social and friendly with people and dogs, and is happy to play with the younger puppy in her foster home as well. Zuri is being fostered by a trainer in Snohomish, WA and has a great leg up on her obedience. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. She has had basic introduction to e collar off leash recall and is always eager to please. Zuri will make a wonderful companion for one lucky family!
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test, health certificate, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.
