Zoe & Phoebe

More sad news; just a short time without her sister pheobe has passed on. these sisters were left by their 'owners' in their most vulnerable years and thankfully found a place to be loved and cared for until their passing. TNT thanks the wonderful family who took them in and kept them together where they are now once again. Zoe has passed away: It is with sadness that we update the profile of our silly sisters to report that Zoe and Phoebe have been separated by the death of sweet Zoe.
Zoe passed away in the care of a loving lady who took her and Phoebe into foster care knowing they were seniors and may never find forever homes. Phoebe remains with her foster mom and has her foster families dogs to keep her company in Zoe's absence.
TnT wishes to thank this amazing foster family for loving and caring for Zoe and Phoebe. These girls had not known much of a life until they came to TnT and you.

Upon Arrival:

Zoe and Phoebe are now being fostered in the Lower Mainland and TnT is taking care of their medical needs.
Zoe has a lump and it was checked at the vet, thankfully it is benign. Both girls are ready to to to new homes now! We really want to keep them together, as Phoebe is deaf and Zoe and her have such a special bond. When Phoebe is sleeping, Zoe will go up and make physical contact so that Phoebe knows she is there.
These girls are so sweet and we are glad to be able to keep them together. They are living on the property of a lady who has a kennel, but they are out playing with the resident dogs all day and being treated like pets, not boarders.

SMALL HEARTS NEED NOT APPLY...these lovely female shar pei are both deaf. But Zoe and Phoebe are both managing quite well in the BC shelter they are in. After all, dogs really just need their sense of smell to get by. Sound and sight are just extras to these keen smellers.
Zoe and Phoebe both know hand signals, they are smart dogs! and they are living in the communal area with all the other dogs and getting along well with everybody.
Who could leave two lovely senior girls like these? We bet they still have lots of love to give.
