Zirah is a sweet little husky mix who is coming up on her first birthday and her only wish is to find a home to call her very own. Zirah is extremely timid and was not well socialized to people. She has a strong prey drive, so can't live with cats or small dogs. She loves dogs her size and bigger (she is just 35 lbs) and is learning how to "dog" a bit more each and every day. She will run if not contained, and hasn't been well acclimated to a leash, so definitely will need a fenced yard. She is a smart girl, and is catching on to housebreaking. She is still mouthy, but not aggressive. But for this reason, and her tendency to jump on people, a home without young children is needed. For the little bit we had snow this year, she loved it! Zirah is a gorgeous girl who has all the potential in the world, but she needs a human who will be patient with her and teach her good manners. In return, you will have her loyalty and love, and the immense reward of seeing her blossom right before your very eyes. Zirah is eligible for our foster to adopt program.
