Arrival story: Waggin’ Tails discovered me at a rural shelter. They could not resist my cute face and unique, tiny ears. !

Approximate age / weight: Approx 1 year old and 42 lbs. The perfect size!

Personality: My name is Ziggy, but my pals call me Zigga-Roo-Doo! I’m a fun and playful little guy waiting for the right family to find me. I enjoy being around people and other dogs and even have play-dates with fellow foster dogs. I live with a dog in my foster home, too, and we’re great buddies! There is really nothing more fun than running and romping in the yard, and giving some toys a good shake. Wouldn’t you agree? I hope my new home has lots of tennis balls in the backyard! While playtime is one of my favorite things, I do enjoy snuggle time with my foster Mom. She says I’m a great dog. She’s a straight-shooter so if she said this, you know it’s true. And, it’s also true that I’m totally cute. But there is so much more to me than that! I’ve got brains and charm and I’m ready for my new people to take me under their wing and teach me all the things good dogs should know. !

Forever home: If you’ve got an active lifestyle, I may fit in perfectly with you. I’m not over-the-top energetic, but I’m no couch potato either. I will need exercise, like walks and games with you in the backyard, and toys to keep me mentally challenged. In return, I promise to be your buddy for life. I need you! Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - http://www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoptionprocess.html. Just complete the application and email it back to [email protected]

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $100 for senior dogs (9 years +), $275 for small breed dogs and $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age.
Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
