ZIGGY is a great little West Highland Terrier mix that just lost his forever home. The reason that this approximately 6 year-old and 15 pound guy is homeless is that his very elderly owner was moved into a nursing home. She loved her dog and had no provisions made as to whom would take care of him. Regardless of age it is important that our best friends have a place to go in case of illness or another turn of events. Now ZIGGY awaits new people to love him, keep him groomed, and cherish him for years to come. His needs are few and oh how much he will give in return. ZIGGY does need to be groomed about every 8 weeks at a cost of $50 per groom which should be factored into his care. He will enjoy going on nice walks and getting to know his new neighborhood. The Westie is a smart and loyal companion. Once comfortable in his new home this little guy will thrive. He will be ever so grateful for the loving care that he is being given. ZIGGY is a young adult dog and has many years ahead of him. To give ZIGGY a second chance please fill out the Animal Alliance online application.
