Zeus came from the county pound and he is so happy to have his freedom back. He is playful and energetic my vet believes him to be around 2 or 3..
Zeus has had to have his tail amputated. It is now approximately 6 inches long. He got "happy tail" at the dog pound and then his tail was wrapped too tightly with a bandage which caused major problems. So, to help him heal we had to amputate most of his tail. He is such a happy dog that he would just beat his tail on everything, so it never had a chance to heal. He is healing great and the household items are much safer as well.
He gets around marvelously and enjoys playing with other dogs.
Zeus needs a soft place to sleep as he has huge calleouses from sleeping on a hard surface most of his life. He loves attention and like so many Great Danes, is a real ham!.
Zeus has had his teeth cleaned and had blood work run and he is healthy and happy.
