Zeus

This is Zeus, a 7 month old Leonberger or Belgian Tervuren mix. Zeus was surrendered by the grandmother of a 13- year old who was his “owner”. She turned him in because he was too much for the grandchild to take care of and neighborhood children were picking on this little guy hitting him in the face with sticks, pulling his ears, fur and tail when out in the fenced yard.

Because of his prior treatment, Zeus will need someone that has patience to show him that not all people are nasty. He is still very young and learns quickly. He is exuberant and very friendly and knows how to sit but is scared of stairs. He may be best in a household without young children because this boy will be on the large size when full grown. Maybe 85+ lbs. More details to follow.
