Zeus

Zeus was surrendered to us because his owners are moving across the country & chose not to take him. He was adopted seven years ago from another animal shelter. We are looking for the final home for Zeus as he's got a lot of life to lead & doesn't deserve the uncertainty he's facing. Zeus's former owners say that he is "very cuddly and loves unconditionally. Zeus is described as cuddly, affectionate, a couch potato, & calm/gentle. He loves to play with bones & sticks & knows several commands. Zeus loves to play in the yard with a toy & enjoy the sunshine. He's wonderful with children of all ages. He's only spent time with medium & large male dogs so we're unsure at this point how he would do around a female dog. His former owner describes him as a near perfect dog - house trained, crate trained, great with the dogs & kids he's met, loves going on walks & car rides (but does get car sick occasionally). Skip the hard training of a puppy, and adopt a mature, predictable canine companion like Zeus!
