ZEDD ?????? Hi, world. My name is Zedd and I can’t wait to meet you. The hoomans think I’m an Aussiedoodle, somewhere between 6-12mos. I’m just a baby! I might be a bit reserved when I first come home but once I feel comfortable and safe, I’m a whole new pup. My foster mom says I’m the perfect combination of playful, curious, smart, snuggly and fearless all wrapped in one super soft package. I love having something to do (treat puzzle, chew toy, chasing kibble down a hallway) and being next to you when I get tuckered out. From couches to beds, I’ve never met a soft spot or sunny window I don’t like - especially if you’re already there. My foster brother is an 85lb husky-pittie-shepherd mix and I can’t get enough playtime with him. I could do well in a home with another dog who can show me the ropes, they just need to be patient with me when I get overexcited. I have not been exposed to cats or kids with my foster hoomans but would likely do well with a slightly older kid who won’t leave their toys out for me to play with. I have minimal shedding but will need regular grooming to keep my fur healthy and mat-free. I am house trained, we’ll just need to work together to figure out how I can tell you when I need to go. As for kennel training, I could use some work. My foster parents put me in a mesh kennel at night and for nap time but I’ve been known to break out of it if I’m done with my nap before they are. I know “sit” and “touch” and can be lured into “lay down.” I’m working on “wait” and “stay” but it’s so hard when I just want to be next to you! I would do best with someone who can help me set boundaries through positive reinforcement and create routine, remembering I’m just a puppy that’s moved around a few times so it may take some time to adjust to my new normal. I can also get anxious and sad when my hoomans aren’t around so I’d love to live with someone who can be home with me regularly and not leave me at home alone for extended periods of time. That shouldn’t be a problem though because once you meet me, you won’t want to go anywhere without me. My perfect furever home would have lots of space for me to get the zoomies and go into what my foster mom calls, “Hot Wheels Mode.” Does this sound like you? Apply to meet me today!!
