Meet Zara, the affectionate and smart Shepherd mix who's ready to find her perfect match! Born around December 15, 2023, I've had quite the journey from Mexico to San Diego, where I'm now looking for a forever home that understands my energetic spirit. I'm fully spayed, vaccinated, and fully potty trained. While I've mastered crate training, I could use a bit more help with leash manners, especially when encountering new dogs or people. My background includes a brief stay with a family who unfortunately couldn't keep up with my playful energy, but I get along famously with babies, kids, cats, and other playful dogs. I'm extremely affectionate and love nothing more than cuddling up with my humans. I'm playful and very energetic, enjoying playtime with my foster siblings—a 5-month-old pug and a 1.5-year-old medium-sized mix. Public outings and car rides are right up my alley, though I might need a moment to warm up to new faces.
