He is currently almost 10 pounds, 2 months old, and we think he may be a Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue its always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! This charismatic boy loves to play, and he plays with his WHOLE HEART. We are managing his circus audition now and just waiting to hear back because this boy can effortlessly roll over, forward somersault, and jump, all while playing. He loves to play with his two siblings but can entertain himself (and you!) just as well with a few soft stuffies and chew toys. This tiny gorgeous guy does < everything > with his whole heart he plays hard and he loves hard too. He often comes right back next to you (during or) after playing, on the off chance that you are available to give him pets and snuggles. (Were always ready for those sweet puppy squishes.) We love his playful enthusiasm almost as much as we love snuggling this sweet boy. Zachary has gorgeous markings that will definitely make you do a double-take. Hes mostly black with pops of white on his face and chest (and on the tips of his paws too), and his coat is so soft and shiny. He has the cutest pink spot on the top of his nose that is perfect for kisses! His ears though his ears! They are so expressive and go every which way, especially when hes hard at work playing; theyre an endless source of fun to watch. Zachary is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
