My Story

For adoption, Yuki, Malinois, 1.5 year old. Yuk-Yuka a 100% goofy personality. He is a true lover boy and loves “gucci-gucci” moments with his person. He can spend hours on his back on the sofa as long as there is scratches. Yuki is the perfect dog for an active loner. He is a dog who loves to work and who will find missions if the opportunity presents itself. For this reason, he will need to be caged when left alone so that he does not destroy anything. He loves his cage and also lives very well in an enclosure. His switch off is still to be worked on, but he lives well in the house, but needs to be monitored. * Yuki is a “stranger danger” Malinois. Yuki is getting better and better, I'm working on him a lot at this level and we have a lot of improvement. He is not a sociable dog to strangers and has a history of biting when a stranger touches him. He tolerates the people around him very well, but is not a fan of unnecessary petting. He is ok with a stranger if he works or plays with him. He must therefore be in a family aware of this and who will continue to work on him. A family without children is privileged, or with sensitized teenager(s)* Apart from that, I consider him a perfect dog. For the rest, he is a very smooth Malinois. He is the type of Malinois who loves little grandma walks in the woods. He has a very good recall, currently he is loose on the e-collar and I have no problems. He is ultra zen in the woods and loves water (lab heart). He is not reactive to dogs and is very social/playful. He still has to learn to respect the limits of other dogs, but he is not malicious towards them. He loves car rides and is exemplary. Cohabitation with cats is good, but needs to be monitored. He is ok with small dogs. I believe that this good boy would thrive in a family that wants to do IGP/PSA/detection. He was considered for K9, but the gentleman is too big. I also believe he would be great at any sport. He has a great food drive and play drive. An excellent working dog. He is exemplary in manipulations, if they are done by his human. Yuki is fundamentally a good boy. He loves spending time with his people and trusts quickly.
