Yoshi

Meet Yoshi, a 1.5-year-old, 40-pound pup with a knack for bouncing back from life's curveballs. Yoshi's early days hinted at some rough patches (he shows signs of being hit by a car) but he's moved past that. Found to be heartworm positive, deaf, and a bit worse for wear, he landed with us at NOBR after the shelter helped him recover. Despite being deaf, Yoshi's spirit is unbroken, and he navigates the world with a sweet enthusiasm for life. Although he is still a bit weary of new things, his gentle temperament shines as he interacts effortlessly with other dogs, forming lasting bonds that showcase his resilience and capacity for love. Yoshi will be a lovable companion, ready to bring boundless joy to a patient and understanding forever home. Yoshi's journey is a testament to resilience, and he's ready to add a touch of joy to a family that appreciates life's quirks. He will appreciate a family who is willing to learn about communication and training using sign language, which he is already picking up on! We ask that you leave current pets and children at home- we will set up meet and greets with the whole family after the adults have met all of the pups at our adoption event.
