Yeller

Hello, my name is Yeller and I’m a Retriever mix. I was recently taken to a rural shelter because my owners couldn’t afford to take care of me anymore. I am sad because of this and miss them very much. Even though I have fun outside, I always find myself taking a quick peak to see if they are here to pick me up. You see, that shelter had so many animals turned in that they were going to have to euthanize some of us, we just didn’t have any room. Luckily Howard County Animal Control had room and brought me here. I am so greatful to have a second chance to find another family. They tell me I am a loyal dog, who listens well. I come when I’m called and sit when I’m told. I just like to be told “Good Boy!”. I like other dogs, but I don’t play hard, I like a little Tag-You’re-It and I really like when someone throws a ball for me. I just wish I could have someone to cuddle at night, I’m lonely in the cage all by myself. Would you like to come and visit me?
