Y_PLUS: Puff

This little guy was dropped at a shelter at about 4 weeks old because he was a sick little guy. As it turns out, all Puff needed was some food and lots of TLC! He was only ounces when he came to IDR but is now about 2 lbs. He is about 8 weeks old and he is looking for his perfect forever home. We were told he is a Shih Tzu/poodle mix and as you can see, he is absolutely adorable! Puff is a typical puppy and loves to play with toys and run circles in the backyard. He is on the quiet side and only barks when he is playing. From the day he came into his foster home he slept through the night! He does not seem to be a good match for a home with large dogs as he gets quite afraid and will hide. He does however try to play with the smaller dogs in his foster home and he has played with a cat! Puff was born with problems in one eye and we did have to remove it as it was simply causing him problems but he does have vision in his other eye. The adoption fee for Puff is $300 and he will also require a neuter deposit. IDR will cover the cost of the neuter if done at one of our vets. He will not be shipped. You must live within a 3 hour radius of Barrington to adopt. He will also not be placed with children until 8 years old due to his size.
