My Story

Patience They say patience is a virtue. Unfortunately, for this little girl, she is going to have to be patient a little while longer for her forever home. In addition to abandoning her, her former owner(s) did not use heartworm preventative as she now joins the rank of far too many dogs that ILDR+ has had to treat for heartworms. About 2 yrs old, Patience is a 50 lb. female Rottie Mix, shorter and smaller than most Rottweilers and whose hair coat is a little longer. She is somewhat shy with new people initially. But once she gets to know you, she is a kissing fool! Not much else is known about her history, but a sweeter dog cannot be found. She seems to get along well with other dogs and is unconcerned with cats. If you are interested in additional information about Patience, please contact her foster Mom at [email protected], after completing an adoption application at www.ildoberescue.com. Adoption Application Patience will be patiently waiting for her forever home wearing her new Dober Duds collar and leash kindly donated by Albert Dunker.
