Meet Xena! This little girl loves people and being the center of attention. She is absolutely sweet and friendly towards people and has been a delight to have with our little dogs at WAG. Born in December 2022, Xena has many years ahead of her to be the ultimate companion. She has a bark that is unmistakable and will get anyone's attention, especially if Xena is excited by the presence of a new potential friend. While this is a great security feature, it is not ideal for apartment living. Xena would do best as an only child, as she tends to get jealous when she shares the attention- meaning no other dogs, cats, or children under the age of 10. She might do okay with tweens or teens in the home, as long as they understand that little Xena did inherit a long dachshund back and could be prone to injury.
