Xena was born 01/13/2019. She came to us with her littermate/sister, Zuess (listed on this page at this writing). They are bonded, but can possibly be separated.
She has never been around children that we are aware of and we have not tested her with kids. We most likely wouldn't recommend her with small children. She does not do well with other dogs (especially small dogs) as she is very dominant. Even with her sister, she has moments of overdominance and will make her submit. This behavior has improved much since arriving.
Xena does have Hypothyroidism that is well controlled with taking her small Thyrotab twice a day. She is a good girl and takes this pill very well. This medication is not expensive.
She loves to play with her sister and run in our large play yard. German Shepard experience is required. We are currently accepting applications for her adoption for an undetermined amount of time.
