Xena is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Xena is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support - Xena came to us with apparent trauma of her bottom lip, which hangs down and while it might look a little funny it does not cause her pain or slow her down at all. Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: She has done very well with free roam when home alone, for up to 8 hours Leash walking: Xena is leash reactive and can whine/bark or pull when she sees other dogs on walks. She has been easily redirected but may do best in a lower-traffic area. Dog social: No, she prefers not to be around other dogs Cat social: No, she prefers not to have feline friends Kid friendly: She has done well in interactions with respectful older kids! Xena likes: - Being a cozy queen - napping in a blanket burrito, stretching out on your lap, or curling up at the end of your bed - Pulling squeakers out of stuffed toys and chewing them until they stop making noise - Using her brain! She already knows "sit," "down," "paw," and "stay," and enjoys solving puzzle toys. Xena is a bundle of joy and affection who instantly makes friends with everyone she meets. Don't let her age fool you-Xena is always up for a game of tug-of-war and is a pro at performing surgery on her squeaky toys. Xena loves all people, but can be reactive to other dogs. She wears a muzzle on walks and may do best in a lower-traffic area where she can consistently have a decent amount of space from other dogs on walks.
