Xena is a powerful, playful girl who arrived at the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She loves to be with people and is happiest when she can snuggle with her humans.
Xena loves to play fetch and will keep a fast pace with that long after her human wears out! She can live in a world with dogs and can comfortably walk by them on the street, but she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Her leash skills are good, but fetch is her favorite thing.
Her owner claimed that she lived with children. At this point she would be best in a home with older children due to her size and enthusiasm. Xena is looking for a second chance to live in a home - she has the potential to be a wonderful companion .
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
