Xena

Meet XENA Xena is a smart, sweet girl with great manners. She’s approximately 12 months old, so she still has some puppy energy and she loves nothing more than to play!! She is excited to play with doggie friends, human friends, or even enjoys entertaining herself with toys. Xena is very social and loves meeting new people and other dogs. She’s submissive by nature and will roll over for belly rubs without hesitation, however, given a chance to run, romp and play with other dogs, she is excited to join in. Xena has excellent house manners. She’s potty trained, crate trained and leash trained. She loves going for walks and walks very well on a loose leash, but she does like to chase cats, so a home without kitties would be best for her. Xena knows to be calm and gentle in her interactions with humans and knows not to jump up on them. She already knows several commands, such as sit, stay, come & no. Xena is very treat motivated and a very fast learner. Her ideal home would be an active family (with or without another dog) who will continue working with her, as she is eager to please and learn new things. While Xena loves to play and learn and explore, she also knows when it’s time to relax and will happily lay at your feet while you work or rest. Xena is a fabulous, well mannered girl who would love to be a true companion to a loving family. Xena is vaccinated, spayed (on 7/15), heartworm negative and microchipped. Xena is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada. Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test, transport and vet/documentation requirements in preparation for transport.
