Xena is a shy sweetheart who's blossoming into the crazy goofy girl we know she truly can be. She was brought in by the city of Iola because she was a stray running loose in town and wouldn't let anyone catch her. After running for over a week she was finally caught, but unfortunately no one has claimed her. When she first came in she was terrified of everyone and everything and was covered in scars and half her ear missing. She hasn't been with us long, but is already blooming, since being around other dogs and going outside with a friend we've noticed her learning how to be a dog again. She's starting to let us pet her more without flinching and is becoming more like a puppy with each passing day. She is housebroken and will definitely let you know when she has to go or has an opinion that you need to hear. She walks very gentle on a leash and doesn't have a preference on toys just as long as she gets some. Xena's adoption 's fee is $100 which includes her spay, up to date on shots, deworming, flea treatment, bath, nail trim, and a microchip.
