He's just an older dude who wants to chill and sometimes play." ******************************************************************************************** WRIGLEY is a sweet, silly, gentle boy who loves being with his people. He is 9 years old, and is only 40 lbs (even though he does look bigger in the pics). His favorite chill spots are on the couch or on a soft bed near the humans. He is affectionate, but its more on his terms. He will give you small gentle kisses if you ask. He is not forceful and always soft with his kisses. Even when he's excited (like when his foster comes home), Wrigley is a calm and sweet boy. WRIGLEY can be playful with other dogs (big and small), and sometimes he just prefers to wander around the yard on his own. He enjoys exploring everything outside. Sniffing around is important to him, and he is often checking stuff out and then leaving it be. This boy also enjoys rolling around in the dirt and grass, and patrols the fence line proudly! WRIGLEY enjoys chewing on bones, and is disinterested in toys. WRIGLEY isn't a picky eater, and he’s friendly with his food bowl and toys (no resource guarding). WRIGLEY is a calm boy with excellent house manners, and always does his business outside. He travels well and is crate trained. He can also be trusted alone and outside his crate. He is quiet both in the house and crate, with an occasional bark towards one of the foster kitties. Speaking of which, Mr Wrigley does go after one of the kitties in his foster home. He isn't aggressive, and would still probably do best in a home without cats. What else is important to know about this sweetie? WRIGLEY is fearful of storms & fireworks, and self-regulates well. He prefers to weather the loud thunder & rain curled up safely in his crate. Overall, Wrigley is a delight and a perfect gentleman who is ready to be someone’s cherished companion.
