Compassionate Placement
Woody was found on a golf course after hanging around the area for at least 2 weeks, explosed to the elements and all alone in the world. The ordeal has left Woody with a heart murmur and cloudy eyes. It has been hard on him, but he is SO GRATEFUL to have been taken in and is extremely content. He just needs time now to rebuild his constitution with good food and care. He will make a wonderful pet.
We have no idea of what breeds he has in him—another mystery—but he is around 40 pounds and maybe a Terrier mix.. The Vet estimates around 7 years old. Woody's ordeal has given him a heart murmur Currently in foster care, he is a gentle boy who needs a loving home for the rest of his days.
Woody is neutered, shots including rabies and bordatella, heartworm tested negative and started on preventative, flea & worm treated just in case. Woody just wants a lap to sit on as he watches golf on TV in the safely in his own new home!
Woody would do best in a home alone or with another quiet old dog. He loves the security of his crate for eating and quiet naps.
