Wonder

Meet Wonder! This pretty little man came to naws to find his forever home! Wonder is sweet as can be and a little wiggly butt. Wonder is about 3.5 years old and came in to naws being quite underweight. We are helping get him in better shape now and he loves all the treats he can get at naws. This guy comes out of his shell pretty quickly and loves all of the attention. He is very a very calm and snuggly pup and is a really good buddy to have around. He's such a happy boy! Wonder was adopted in the past but went through a traumatic time with the other dog in the home. He is now somewhat scared of other dogs and would need a very calm dog friend or no dog at all as his trust with other dogs has really wavered. He gets along very well with kitties and has a history of living with them. His favorite things are going on walks and getting belly rubs. His microchip was scanned and his prior people were contacted and said they did not want him anymore. Wonder has had a very rough go at finding his forever home and has been returned twice now through no fault of his own. He is a very well behaved boy and house trained. The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
