My Story

Wolfie is a 1.5 year old, 72 lb male, Labrador retriever/doberman mix. Wolfie is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Wolfie (don't worry about the name, I'm as sweet as a lamb). I'm very dog friendly, so I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home, and I love to run and play with them. I would consider myself a pretty active doggy, as I love to run and play. But my foster mom says I am a good boy; I listen well and I wait my turn when it's feeding time, or time for treats. I am fully house broken, I picked up on using the doggy door quickly when I arrived at my foster home because I'm a smart boy. I am okay on a leash but it takes me a little time to settle into the walk because I'm eager to check things out. I am not a fan of crates, but I'm learning to use them and be comfortable in them now. I tend to be a little shy in new situations and with new people, but once I get to know you I'm a sweet and friendly guy. I definitely like getting cuddles and pets from my foster family. One great feature I have (among many, I like to think) are my pretty blue eyes. You can pet me and we can stare into each other's souls... But I think the best thing about me is that I have a big heart; it's full of love and I'm waiting to give that love to my very own family. I would love to go home with someone who would take me on long walks, or maybe on hikes, and just spend time being active with me. I hope you will consider adopting me, you won't regret it! I'm ready to start on a new adventure... with you! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut.
