Sometimes, when a little background is available it is helpful to share. Wisteria, 2 year old beagle, was found with her 3 puppies and an adult male dog huddled in a hollowed out tree. The whole canine family was rescued and nursed them back to health. She has come a very long way but will need a family that will continue to build her confidence. Socialization is the key to Wisteria getting adjusted to new environments and people. She is very sweet, but as you can guess, a shy girl.She is on the smaller side, weighing almost 24 pounds. She is a striking girl with a tri color coat and eyes that are so distinctive with their large black circles. Wisteria is house, crate, and leash trained! Of course, all dogs can have accidents as they adjust to a new family, new routines, and a new environment. Wisteria generally is a low energy pup, so walks will satisfy her curiosity as she gets to know a whole new world. She will want attention and affection, as well as activities that can prevent boredom. As to kids and dogs, she is comfortable around them. It is not known if she has ever lived with a cat.
