My Story
We are so excited to introduce everyone to the Wayward litter- West, Willow, Wonder, Whisper, and Wish.
These babies are the complete definition of adorable. They're fat, bouncy, happy, healthy, playful balls of love. They love to tumble and play with each other in the grass. The have the time of their lives with a handful of squeaky toys and chew bones. They are extremely affectionate and loving, and cuddle time is the best time.
This precious little family is a modern day miracle, without a doubt. Born into a family of feral dogs in rural Mississippi, the parents and grandparents of these babies have been in the sights of some of our southern rescue partners for over a year. One by one, with countless prayers, sleepless nights, difficult days, blood, sweat, and tears, each and every member of this feral family was caught, vetted, and saved by rescue.
The last one to be caught was the mother to this puppy litter. She eluded rescue until after her babies were born in the wild. Once she realized that she could not care for her babies without human intervention, she gave in and let us help her. Now, her beautiful babies are ready to find their forever homes, and break the cycle of their family.
These puppies are your typical happy and sweet young canines. Foster is working on house training, and they are all eager to learn. They also do well in a crate for short periods of time.
These adorable ones are ready to begin searching for their forever families and will make a wonderful addition to any household!

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy's life, do you have the time??
Please consider purchasing this book before adopting. Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.
