Winston- Purebred

Winston is a wonderful boy who was given up by his owner because they just didn’t have time for him. They had gotten him as a puppy and the husband developed allergies to him, so he was banished to the great outdoors. How sad is that? They paid very little attention to him so, of course, he barked to get their attention. They actually put a shock collar on him and burnt his neck! How sad is that? Winston is very happy to be where he is loved and appreciated. He is a 1 ½ year old purebred Golden Retriever. He did have a skin infection as a puppy, so he is missing some fur on his face, but that doesn’t detract from this special boy!

Winston is great with kids, other dogs, and cats. What more could you ask for? He’ll fit in anywhere. He is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and is very eager to please. He is crated trained and supposedly house trained.

This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
