Winston is a DELIGHTFUL little purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi boy. His previous owner rescued him from a rural shelter a couple months ago, but then sadly found out she was allergic to dogs! ~~ Winston is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, is verrry sociable, playful, and friendly. He is cheerful and animated. Likes to play but is not hyper, he settles down nicely in the house after his walks. ~~ He can be a bit of a spoiled brat (!!) if you try to make him do something he doesnt want to, so will need a gentle, patient & persistent owner........ but otherwise he's nearly "perfect!" ~~ He gets along fine other dogs and with cats. We do not adopt small dogs to homes with young children, and some Corigs tend to nip their ankles, being a herding breed. ~~ Winston is a light red colr with a white blaze on his face, and white feet and chest. He is 12" tall and his ideal body wt is about 28 lbs, tho he is currently on a diet! ~~ Healthy and up to date on all vet care. ~~ NOTE: We require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, and certainly never those shock collar "invisible fencing systems."
