Winston

Update - Winston is doing well. He is a great dog. He will come when called and sit when asked. He is quiet unless there is a lot going on. Then he wants to be a part of things. Winston is a four year old Maltese. He is really sweet. He loves all and wants to play. Winston has been in two homes already. His first parents had to go into assisted living and could not care for him. His second home decided to move and not take him with them. He arrived in his foster home as if he lived there forever even through there were 12 other dogs. His foster home got him groomed since he had burrs in his mustache. His paws and belly were clay colored as if he was left outside a lot. Winston loves to be held. He hates being in his crate and prefers to sleep with his person. He will go into an open crate to sleep. He has been licking his paws as if he may have allergies. Winston did have an ear infection when he arrived but he is being treated for that. Winston is not housebroken but once on a schedule we do not think that will be a problem. He will go outside when you ask him to. Winston will only be adopted to a family within an hour of Charlotte, North Carolina. There will be no exceptions made.
