Willow

Prairie Pooches Rescue has the beautiful Willow in search of her forever home. Sadly Willow has been failed by adopters a couple times as they haven’t given her the proper time to adjust. Willows ideal home is an active home with a daily walk or run. She would thrive having a playful male dog to play with. She’s good with females too but we want to ensure long term compatibility. She is fostered with cats and does well with them but due to being returned once before bc of a conflict with one of the cats we are going to ask a no cat home to ensure her next stop works 100%. She is good with kids but also needs dog savvy children as she’s a teenage bully breed so has some power to her. She is house and crate trained and has all her basic obedience. She uses a head halti for walking so we ask figure adopters be prepared to use that also. No harnesses as that encourages pulling. Willows adoption fee is sponsored so we do expect adopters to forward that fee towards obedience classes to ensure she has the proper guidance and structure in her future home. Prairie Pooches Rescue is a volunteer and foster based rescue. All our dogs are in foster homes and approved adopters are required to meet the dogs at the foster homes. Adoption fee is sponsored. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinations UTD, dewormed and microchipped. Adoption applications and home visits are done for all adoptions.
