We just welcomed 7 lb 14y yorkie-poo neutered male Willie! His tail goes a mile a minute, always a smile on his face and his farts could take out a horse, haha. His 14th birthday was on Monday June 17th and unfortunately, his beloved owner passed the Monday before. Willie had an army behind him making sure he wasn't left behind and his groomer of 10 years got him to us. He has a history of IBS so he came with his hydrolysis protein diet and GI meds. He recently had a dental and a mass removed. He’s met the crew and settled right in. He is just so sweet and we are sorry his life has flipped but we’re happy to have Willie in the house!
Update from foster mom: Amongst all of the changes, Willie has settled in easily at his foster home. He enjoys running around the backyard but clearly prefers to be an inside dog. He was previously diagnosed with IBS and does take prednisone and was on a hydrolyzed protein diet for that. However, we have been able to transition him to a regular diet. He is doing incredibly well with no issues. This boy loves to eat and will follow you around the house on the off chance you might be getting something to eat. He gets along very well with all of our other dogs, both big and small. He is independent and doesn’t like to be held for a long period of time, but will sit on the chair next to you. He has a little nub of a tail that goes a mile a minute and is incredibly sweet. He is house trained, but we do take him outside every couple of hours because he is so little and we also put a belly band on him at night just in case. He is such a sweet boy!!
