Animal Haven Update 8/18/07 I am a great dog. I love humans, canines and getting to know felines. I am housebroken. I would make you a great companion because I just want to be inside hanging out with you. Update 4/5/07 I am still looking for my forever family. I will play fetch with you and let you pet me if you adopt me. I am doing great on the housebreaking and love being in the house with my foster family. I do not bother the cats or the little dogs in the house. If you have room in your heart I would love to fill it. Update - 2/11/07 I am still looking for my home. I am a wonderful dog. I love to be petted and would love to sit next to you all day. I love all other dogs as long as I can play with then. My sister Nahla came back and we are having so much fun together. I am learning how to sit and stay. Do you have a free hand to pet me? Update October 31: Wiggles is growing up to look more and more like a Lab. He is a handsome dog. He will hop and play in the yard with any dog or person who will play with him. He loves to run after balls or toys especially if they are in another dog's mouth. He will run after the toy but forgets to bring it back. He would love to be by his person and lay at their feet. He would love to be a lap dog but will soon grow out of someone's lap. Updated: Aug. 9, 2006 I got my name from squirming all over the place when I was just a baby. I have tiny white tips on my back feet and a white spot on my neck under my chin. I am one of nine babies from momma dog who is on this site. We are only four weeks old but have begun our search for our forever home. We have to be weaned from mom before we can go to our new family. My mom and I have recently moved into a new foster home and the website will be updated with our new names. My mom was picked up by animal control and taken to a shelter when they noticed she was pregnant. She gave birth to nine darlings the same night they brought her in. No one came searching for us so our time was running out. Yes, they would have euthanized my mom and us but a S.A.F.E. volunteer came to the rescue. She had seen my mom at the shelter and just couldn't get her out of her mind, she has that effect on people you know! She and another volunteer searched to find us a foster home but the foster home could not take us for several days. Meanwhile my mom, my siblings and I stayed on the concrete floor of the kennel awaiting a miracle. The volunteers refused to give up and made arrangements for our temporary care and today we have a new foster home. Hopefully you have it in your heart to give me a home where I can sleep by your side and share all the love in my heart. I know my forever family is out there and will apply for me soon.
