Wesley

Wesley is a tiny little "Blue Chihuahua" who is about 16 weeks old. He's cute as a button, but also very shy and nervous, like most little Chihuahuas. Wesley warms up after you spend a little time holding him and reassuring him. He love to snuggle in your shirt or jacket to stay warm, but what Wesley really needs, is to be gradually socialized to lots of people and situations. That way, he'll blossom into a sweet little boy.

Like all small dogs, Wesley will not do well in a home with small children. He is too nervous to be around the loud noises and fast movements. A quiet, adult home or one with teenagers would be best for him.

Adoption Fee: $300

We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue tries to find good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We are good at keeping up to date with Petfinder, so if a dog is still listed, it is available (but might have other interested families). If you're interested in a dog please email us with the following information. If the dog seems compatible with your situation we'll set up a time for you to meet the dog.

Do you have other pets now? (dogs/cats) Have you had dogs in the past? What became of them? Do you have experience with training? Crate training? What kind of exercise are you willing to provide for the dog? Do you have children? What are their ages? What is your schedule like? How long/often will the dog be alone? Where will you keep the dog when you're at work? Where will the dog be when you're home? At night? Are you in a home or apartment? Do you have a fully, securely fenced yard?
